Delete your data

How to remove your account and all personal data from Inbjuden.

GDPR

At Inbjuden we respect your right under GDPR to have your personal data erased ("the right to be forgotten"). This page describes two ways to request deletion — pick the one that suits you best.

1. Delete your account directly in the app

The easiest way is to delete the account yourself via the settings while logged in:

  • • Log in to inbjuden.com
  • • Go to Settings → Account
  • • Click "Delete my account" and confirm

2. Request deletion by email

If you can no longer log in (e.g. you signed up via Facebook and no longer have access to that account) — send us an email:

Or write directly to christian@inbjuden.com including:

  • • The email address linked to your account
  • • How you logged in (email, Google, Facebook)
  • • A clear request that your account and personal data be deleted

What data is deleted?

When the request is processed, we delete:

  • • Profile information (name, email, phone, profile picture, bio)
  • • OAuth connections (Google, Facebook) — so login via those will no longer work
  • • Account settings and preferences
  • • Events you created as sole organizer (for events with other attendees, you are anonymized as the organizer)
  • • RSVP responses, comments and messages
  • • Security logs linked to your account

What is retained for legal reasons?

Some data must by law be retained for a period after deletion:

  • • Bookkeeping records for any payments — 7 years per Swedish accounting law
  • • Anonymized aggregates (statistics with no personal identifiers)

Timeline

We process deletion requests within 30 days as required by GDPR. Typically it happens within a few business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Did you log in via Facebook?

If you logged in to Inbjuden with your Facebook account, you can also revoke the app's access to your Facebook data directly from Facebook:

  • • Go to Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites
  • • Find "Inbjuden" and click "Remove"
